Big-Water Lake Expertise
We build for the conditions that actually matter at LOTO: 5-to-8-foot main-channel wake, the annual 6-foot drawdown, ice push in shallow coves, and the rocky shoreline that requires rip rap and breakwaters instead of seawalls.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a new dock cost at Lake of the Ozarks?
A typical residential floating steel-frame dock at LOTO runs $25,000 to $80,000 depending on size, slip count, roof, and lift package. Smaller 2-well docks start around $25,000; larger 4-well docks with a sundeck and covered roof can exceed $100,000. We provide free, written estimates after a site visit.
Do I need an Ameren permit for a new dock?
Yes. Ameren Missouri controls the entire shoreline at Lake of the Ozarks under its FERC license, and any new dock, dock modification, rip rap installation, or breakwater requires an Ameren permit. We are Ameren-certified and handle the full permitting process for our clients.
What areas of Lake of the Ozarks do you serve?
We serve the entire lake — Camden, Miller, Morgan, and Benton counties — including Lake Ozark, Osage Beach, Sunrise Beach, Camdenton, Linn Creek, Climax Springs, Gravois Mills, Laurie, Four Seasons, Village of Four Seasons, and every cove from the dam to the Niangua, Gravois, and upper Osage.
When should I schedule dock repairs?
The best time for major dock repairs is during the annual drawdown (typically November to February), when Ameren lowers the lake about 6 feet and components are easier to inspect, replace, or re-anchor. We also handle in-season emergency repairs for storm, ice, and wake damage.
